Impossible or I'm Possible

I use Google mail, better known as Gmail, for my personal emails, and the messages are automatically dropped into my Primary, Social, and Promotions categories. Usually, when I receive promotional emails, I delete them all at once without even looking at the sender because they are generally unimportant. Most often, it's from a merchant informing me of a sale or a new product. Well, a couple of weeks ago, a subject line of one caught my eye. Adidas had one that said, "I'm possible." The "m" is shaped not in the shape of a "m" but as their logo (the three stripes shaped into a triangle). For the first time, the three stripes looked like a mountain to me. I stopped for a few minutes and just stared at the words. It struck me because instead of the word "impossible," Adidas modified it. What is impossible is possible. And not just any kind of possible but that "I'm Possible."

Whoa! I love how God grabs my attention and speaks to me when I need it most. This time from a simple subject line that I would typically delete without hesitation. You see, there have been many days, weeks, and months when I have only noticed the impossible in situations. It ranges from my particular issues, family dilemmas, friends' experiences to world problems. Not that I didn't have faith that something could change, but when one adds on top of another, you start to feel the mountain of pressure and uncertainty.

Shortly after that email, I received another one that included the scripture, "With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall." ~Psalm 18:29 (NIV)

God is reminding me, and I'm reminding you, we're possible because God is possible. The word "Impossible" can be God's middle name. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." ~Philippians 4: 13 (NIV)

"You don't have enough faith," Jesus told them. "I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible." ~Matthew 17:20 (NLT)

God knew I needed that truth. My family and I are going to take God at His word, and we're believing our mustard seed of faith will move the mountains. We created a list as a family and are declaring to witness the shift. I can't wait to share the testimonies!

What about you? Do you have enough faith to see the "Impossible" as "I"m Possible"? Have faith and generate your list. Not a list of what you can do but what only God can do.
